Pacific Tree frog
This morning I woke up to find one of Oregon’s little Pacific Tree Frogs hanging out on our back sliding glass door. My son had pointed him out to<
me. So I got the camera out and was able to get a belly shot though the class and a shot of him from the out side too as he clinging to the glass.
We are lucky as we live in an area where Jackson Bottom Wetlands is our front yard/backyard depending on how you look at it. This allows for multiple wildlife creatures to be found and examined by my son. It Also allows me to get some great practices in when photographing wildlife. Last night I was able to get some pictures of Tailless Raccoons while the ate my dogs food for dinner. Its to bad that I got some reflection from light from the glass back doors. They are posted on my Flickr account.
You don’t have to worry about what they think of the pictures end result and they don’t talk back. Which is probably why I enjoy taking pictures of animals and landscapes more than people. As people tend to want you to make a miracle happen and take away flaws they have like Acne. when they well know that only a acne treatment will fix that. Yes we can make some miracles happen with computer technology but that to me is cheating.
Digital Photographer’s essentials
Camera, Lens, Memory cards, Laptop or Desktop, and an eye. I use a Nikon D300 and a Canon G7 Powershot for my cameras of choice. I look for the best in memory cards to ensure that they capture what I am photographing. I then transfer them to my Laptop or desktop to upload them to my Flickr account for all to see. If they are good I put them in my portfolio on this site.
